I built i8·e10 so your finances stay between you and your device — nobody else. Not even me.
The Short Version
i8·e10 is a completely offline application — no servers, no cloud, no accounts. I don't have access to your financial data because it never leaves your device. Everything is stored locally (IndexedDB) and encrypted using the Web Crypto API.
01. Data Sovereignty
Every expense, income entry, debt, and investment you log stays strictly on your device. Unlike cloud-based finance apps, I can't see, sell, or analyze your financial habits — because I simply don't have access to your data. That's the whole point.
02. Encryption
i8·e10 uses the Web Crypto API to encrypt your critical data at rest. Your password generates a cryptographic key that locks and unlocks everything. Important: I don't store your password anywhere, which means I can't recover it for you. Your password and 12-word recovery phrase are your responsibility — keep them safe, and you keep everything.
03. Traffic Source Tracking (UTM Parameters)
When you visit this website, the URL may contain UTM query parameters
(e.g., ?utm_source=instagram).
These are standard, industry-wide parameters that help me understand where my visitors are coming from — for example, whether a link was shared on social media, a blog, or a search engine.
UTM parameters contain no personal information. They don't identify you, track your behaviour inside the app, or access any of your financial data. They simply tell me: "someone arrived from Instagram" — not who arrived.
04. Third Parties
Since I don't collect personal data, I have nothing to share with third-party advertisers or data brokers. The app is ad-free and tracking-free regarding your personal identity.
